When Susana Simonpietri, creative director of interior design firm, was tasked with decorating a 3500-square-foot home (think four bedrooms, three bathrooms, family room, den, playroom, dining area, and kitchen), she didn't let the sheer size daunt her. Instead she crafted a seriously chic abode that went above and beyond her client's dreams. Simonpietri transformed the traditional East Coast saltbox house built in 198 into a bright and airy family-friendly space with influences and a subtle vibe. Thanks to the high vaulted ceilings and picture windows throughout, the home is literally flooded with natural light (and fresh sea air), further enhancing the fashionable décor mix.
